Senior Manager, Applicant Experience

Shorashim is seeking a high-performing, ambitious, & passionate individual to further shape the Birthright Israel: Shorashim applicant experience & success functions of the organization. By taking on the role in our team of Senior Manager, Applicant Experience, this leader will strategically develop, implement, & optimize Shorashim systems/resources for our registration process. In this role, the Senior Manager, Applicant Experience,will lead the transformation of the Birthright Israel: Shorashim applicant journey - from prospective applicant through Birthright Israel participant. This team member will champion innovation, empower direct reports, & optimize overall effectiveness of the registration process; this includes building a productive, efficient, & successful team, using innovative methods in order to continue sustainable & strategic organizational growth, & streamlining the workflow, all while enhancing our applicant experience team & process.

Responsible for shaping the vision, strategy, & the Applicant Experience Team, the Senior Manager, Applicant Experience’s overall progress will be evaluated by meeting & exceeding Shorashim’s applicant/participant acquisition & revenue growth objectives. This position works closely with the North American team, senior leadership; Applicant experience team members are direct reports.

What You’ll Do
Develop & execute a strategic plan to expand the number of Birthright Israel participants/trips
Build a cross-channel applicant lifecycle roadmap that increases acquisition & conversion rates
Identify gaps & make recommendations to effectively drive organizational goals
Interview, hire, train, & provide feedback to Applicant Experience Team members
Lead & inspire team to have a ‘test & learn’ mentality & be applicant-focused, fast-moving, & results-oriented
Create & utilize the best practices to continuously improve the customer experience
Understand both the participants’ needs & objectives in relation to the landscape & trends of recruitment
Report on strategic direction of recruitment & applicant experience team
Communicate with different departments within the organization to optimize potential of growth

Who You Are
Proven ability to meet & exceed targets while managing customer service teams & processes from start to finish
Success working in a team environment, providing direction & strategic feedback to improve performance, efficiency, & growth
Exceptional leader, capable of coaching & inspiring coworkers & employees of various experience levels
Excellent verbal & written communications & interpersonal skills; Partners well with other team members within all levels of management
Ability to prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced environment & work independently; Detail oriented & well-organized, able to manage multiple projects at once
Passion for problem-solving - top down and bottom up; Ability to analyze data & understand user problems to identify key opportunities for improvement
Ability to Results focused: Outcome oriented with a "can do" attitude and passion for maintaining well-managed processes while driving to successful resolutions

Must be willing & able to travel & work night/weekends
