Assistant to the President

A private foundation, the Mayberg Foundation, seeks a detail-oriented, organized individual to support our President's office. This team member will support the work our President does on behalf of furthering the mission of the foundation. The ideal candidate will be organized, trust-worthy, and have a passion for the work. This position works directly with the President and reports to the Managing Director.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Scheduling: Manage trustees' calendars ensuring timely scheduling, confirmations, meeting preparation and follow-up for both internal and external meetings.

Communications: Support all communications including crafting emails, managing phone calls and messages, preparing meeting materials, and ensuring all communication is proactive with appropriate follow-up.

Philanthropic Coordination: Provide a variety of support including relationship management, project coordination, and meeting preparation and follow up

Event Planning: Develop, coordinate and manage events including contract oversight, planning facilitation, and guest relations as needed.

Administrative Management: Manage all personal administrative functions in support of the trustees, including correspondence, partnership, liaison to executive director of the foundation and other staff. Ensure technology set-up is optimal and engaging trouble-shooting resources as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred
Minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant prior experience
Very strong computer skills (G-Suite and Mac apps)
Proven project management skills with keen attention to detail, follow-through and ability to organize and prioritize multiple activities
Competencies in project management, organization, and communications
