P/T Bookkeeper/Office Admin

Looking for a part-time bookkeeper for a Reform Synagogue located in Northeast Queens.
Skills/Knowledge/Experience Required:
Working knowledge of QuickBooks is mandatory
Extensive experience with data entry and recordkeeping;
Computer proficiency using Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word & Outlook
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Analytical, organized, and detail-oriented
Ability to multi task.

Job Responsibilities:
Preparing and entering deposits into QuickBooks
Timely processing of vendor invoices and preparation of checks for payment
Processing credit card transactions for dues/donations/other payments and entering in the general ledger
Resolution of billing discrepancies in a timely manner
Answering phones
Maintaining and filing records of paid bills, etc.
Ordering supplies

Wed and Friday: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm or 9:30 am to 4:30 pm

Salary: $15/hr
