Office Manager


Under the supervision of the Camp Director, the Office Manager is primarily responsible for the Summer Office and all administrative tasks needed, ensuring they are carried out in a timely and efficient manner. The Office Manager answers the phone, helps parents when needed, directs calls to the relevant staff member, and helps with printing and copying for other tzevet (staff) members. The Logistics Director is expected to present themselves with
integrity and dugma ishit (as a personal example) in and outside of camp.

Specific responsibilities of the Office Manager:

? Assist the Camp Director and Assistant Directors in administrative tasks.
? Answer phone calls and take accurate messages.
? Respond to phone calls and emails within 24 hours.
? Sort camp mail, packages, emails, and faxes.
? Prepare outgoing mail.
? Coordinate work coming into and out of the office (i.e photocopying, word
processing, list making, producing program materials).
? Organize and distribute lost and found at the end of the session.
? Taking inventory and order office materials and supplies with the Logistics Director.
? Ensure a clean, orderly, and professional office.
? Explain and enforce Camp Office policies to all staff.
? On closing day: Collect all necessary materials, receive all inventories, pack away all
materials for the following year.
? Ensure that electronics turned in at the beginning of the session are charged and
distributed to the campers.
? Upload pictures to the CampInTouch system every day for parents to view.
? Work with the Marketing and Communication Manager in the Northbrook office to
coordinate social media posts and updates about camp.
? Work with outside companies such as the copy machine rental company when there
are problems.
? Perform other duties as assigned.

To apply as Office Manager experience in a professional office and an understanding of social media platforms is preferred.

FULL TIME CONTRACT FOR A SUMMER CAMP - can be local or live on camp, salary will differ for each but somewhere between 2500-4000 based on skills and experience, June 5-9 start date, August 9-11 end date, get paid every two weeks, Saturday days off, office hours - 8:30-5:30
