Temple Sholom, an egalitarian conservative synagogue in Bridgewater, NJ looking for creative, engaging and experiential teachers to join our Nitzanim (name of our religious school) team. Our program meets on Wednesday afternoons from 4:30-6:30pm and Sunday mornings from 9:30am-12:00pm in person. (one position is for Wednesdays only)
We follow all CDC guidelines and have our own reopening committee as well.
We are looking for individuals that can connect and relate to learners. Bring Judaism alive by making it relevant and meaningful to them through experiential learning.
Candidates should love working with children, have a passion for Judaism, a strong work ethic, be proficient in Hebrew decoding, and some teaching experience. Camp and Youth group experience is a plus. We offer supportive supervision, a great working environment and opportunities for professional development.
