Jewish Community Impact Study Intern, UJA-Federation of NY

Position Summary:

In 2021, UJA-Federation of New York conducted the Covid-19 Jewish Community Impact Study to better understand the experiences and needs of the New York Jewish community during the pandemic. This position will assist with translating the study findings into reports and presentations for a broad audience and with the administrative functions surrounding the release of the study data.


Major Responsibilities:

Assist with the writing, editing, and proofing of research reports
Aid with formatting reports in Adobe InDesign
Assist with creating presentations about study findings in PowerPoint
Help with basic analysis of open-text survey responses
Coordinate and schedule future presentations of study data
Assist with administrative functions surrounding release of study data
Assist with other research and evaluation projects, as needed


Qualifications and Competencies:

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Experience with Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator
Ability to translate numerical data into an understandable written report for a broad audience
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills
Proactive self-starter with an exceptional work ethic
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Professional, enthusiastic and positive attitude


Education:

Current undergraduate or M.A. student
