We are looking for caring, creative, energetic, nature-loving individuals to join our teaching team. The ideal candidate possesses the ability to plan and facilitate creative and engaging explorations with the children in both our indoor and outdoor settings and thrives in a collaborative environment. A qualified candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with children, their parents and fellow staff members. 12 units of ECE credit strongly preferred.
BENS is a Jewish, play-based school that utilizes our indoor and outdoor spaces to provide a unique learning environment for our children. We weave Jewish values, culture, and Hebrew language throughout our emergent curriculum. Kindness and Kavod (respect) guide children to honor themselves, others, and the earth. Children follow their interests and are supported by their teachers as they challenge themselves, grow and thrive.
We believe that each child’s unique style of living and learning is respected and fostered. Traditions and values are celebrated and interwoven into our programs, drawing upon the important connection between the children, their families, and the warm loving BENS community.
