Beth El Temple Center is a warm, inclusive, and welcoming Reform Jewish congregation located in Belmont, MA. We are seeking new educators to teach in our religious school for the 2021/2022 school year. The ideal candidate should have a strong Judaic background, be enthusiastic, energetic, organized, and creative!
Sunday sessions with openings meet from 8:30 am to 11:00 am, Wednesday sessions meet from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, and our high school (Confirmation Program) meets on Thursdays from 6:00-8:00 pm. The school year begins in late September and runs through mid-May.
Responsibilities include developing and adhering to weekly lesson plans, regular (weekly) communication with parents, work with Madrichim (teacher’s aides) in the classroom, meetings with the Education Director and/or Rabbi Educator, and participation at teacher orientation and professional development sessions.
