Temple Kol Ami Early Childhood Center (ECC) is a nurturing and vibrant community in Scottsdale that has offered a quality early childhood educational program in the Valley for more than _ years. The Assistant Director is a key member of the ECC staff as well as the Temple staff team, and supports the a long and outstanding ECC Director in all aspects of daily collaborative planning, management and supervision.
Requirements:
4 year college degree with 3 or more years of early childhood experience
Strong leadership, supervisory and customer service skills
Outstanding communication skills
Ability to create and maintain partnership with families and staff
Ability to handle multiple tasks and crisis situations effectively
Strong organizational and computer skills in Office, Excel and graphics programs as well as sign- in and payroll applications.
CPR certification, must wear a mask, will be able to lift 35 lbs
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will
have worked in an educational environment or closely related field with management and administrative experience
be effective in representing the school and the Temple in all communications with parents and members and work hard to maintain and enhance strong relationships
be comfortable implementing curriculum and staff in accordance with the Arizona Department of Health Services, Maricopa County Department of Public Health, the CDD and Temple Kol Ami’s COVID 19-policies and protocols
be detail oriented and achievement oriented
can manage a staff of 15-25 teachers and assistant teachers
can teach in a classroom if necessary
be dependable, reliable and flexible with a good sense of humor
prefer to work independently and is innovative
