Rabbi

The Shul of New York is seeing a creative, empathetic person to guide a vibrant congregation of Jews and non-Jews. We seek someone who is comfortable working in partnership with our other spiritual leaders, the Shul Band and lay persons; someone who is able to be a spiritual guide without strictly adhering to one particular Jewish religious doctrine. We are looking for someone who can help to further the approach and the mission of the Shul of New York: "to create a spiritual space, to practice inclusivity, to celebrate spirituality through music and to work towards a just world." We believe that the deepest meaning is found in aspiring to lead an honorable life.
