Job Description & Responsibilities
The Aleinu: Safeguarding Youth Program Manager is the lead staff overseeing and supporting all our work related to safeguarding youth and teens. This work includes: overseeing Aleinu: Safeguarding our Children campaign; assisting with trainings for educators, staff, parents, and other organizational leaders; and supporting case consultations with youth-serving organizations. The Aleinu Program Manager should be up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in prevention and response to child maltreatment and have demonstrated the ability to run programs and lead trainings.
The Program Manager reports to the Executive Vice President and works directly with the CEO on content development and key projects. Oversee all aspects of the Aleinu: Safeguarding our Children program including development and maintenance of the web platform, training and supporting participating organizations, and supporting the expansion of the program.
Produce clear, engaging, and accessible content for Aleinu: Safeguarding our Children and other youth-focused safeguarding resources and written materials for the organization as a whole.
Support the development and delivery of trainings that are focused on prevention and response for safeguarding youth and teens for a range of different stakeholders, including educators, staff, parents, youth.
Provide guidance on case consultations under the supervision of a senior expert consultant.
Maintain current knowledge of relevant abuse prevention and response research as assigned.
Work on related programs and resources as necessary.
Qualifications and Skills of Ideal Candidate:
Minimum five years of professional experience. Strong preference for youth-focused abuse prevention and response subject matter expertise.
Ability to work with Jewish organizations across denominations and backgrounds.
Strong verbal communication skills, including experience as an engaging presenter.
Excellent writing skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to convey engaging, thoughtful, and nuanced ideas.
Strong time-management skills and the ability to work at a fast-pace.
Self-motivated with the ability to work remotely and collaboratively with partners.
Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Collaborative and flexible style, with a growth mindset and team approach.
Willingness to travel at a later date.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000, commensurate with experience.
