The Event Planner is an essential position to the success of BHBE. This role coordinates, guides and structures all events including, but not limited to, holidays, family life cycle events, adult education and other programming as needed. This position not only will coordinate existing events, but also will help develop new concepts and ideas for future events.
-Oversight for all synagogue events including set ups, arrangements for food and registrations or sign ups
-Interact and collaborate with Clergy, Director of Education, Lay Leaders and others
-In coordination with the Executive Director, set and adhere to budgets
-Maintain accurate financial records
-Produce and oversee distribution of synagogue promotional materials related to the events
-Attendance at events as needed, including weekends and evenings
-Other duties as assigned
