Sigma Alpha Epsilon Pi Sorority (SAEPi), Inc. is a 501(c)(7) non-profit organization with more than 300 active members, 2000 alumnae, and 17 active chapters and colonies. The Executive Office provides leadership training and education for members, chapter/colony support and development, increase national visibility, and expansion to new universities to create meaningful experiences and sisterhood for collegiate Jewish women. Position Summary: Sigma Alpha Epsilon Pi (SAEPi)’s Executive Director will support the National Organization by leading daily operational functions specific to fundraising, financial management, communication needs, member services, expansion, and programming. This position may have supervisory responsibilities in the future.

Reporting Structure: Reports to the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Pi Sorority National Board President & Board of Directors
Position Type: Full-Time
Position Classification: Exempt
Salary Range: $50,000 to $65,000 based upon experience
Work Location: Remote, US Based. Travel up to 50% of the time

Responsibilities:
- Solicits major donors, works in collaboration with the SAEPi Foundation, and generates grant requests to acquire funding and scholarships for the Sorority and the Foundation
- Works to make financial choices that best serve the organization and are consistent with the organization’s financial objectives
- Prepares and maintains annual organizational budget and expense report management, including billing membership dues, reimbursements, and vendor payments
- Provides timely, transparent, and responsive communication with the National Board of Directors, SAEPi membership base and external partners
- Maintains and grows the website, social media platforms, and quarterly newsletter
- Develops and maintains relationships with Campus Fraternity and Sorority Life offices, Jewish communities, National Fraternity and Sorority Community partners, external vendors, and the organization's national philanthropy, American Jewish World Service
- Develops educational, philanthropic, Jewish, and leadership programming for membership base, including the Internship program
- Communicates regularly with chapters and colonies to monitor organizational health and aid in conflict situation/crisis management
- Engages alumnae base through programming and regular communication/events
- Evaluates potential growth opportunities and viability for strategic expansion of the Sorority
- Supports existing chapters and colonies to grow overall membership numbers
- Successfully organizes, plans, and hosts yearly National events such as annual Convention and Regional Conclaves
- Solicits and ensures undergraduates, alumnae, partner attendance, and fiscal sponsorships at National events and other programming opportunities
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years experience in business management, non-profit, programming, or relevant experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and critically
- Strong written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills
- Persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Action-oriented, adaptive, and an innovative leader in change management
- Ability to work in collaboration with diverse groups
- Exhibits integrity, a positive attitude, and is mission-driven
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively prioritizes
multiple projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Jewish programming
- Membership in a National Fraternal organization
- Detail-oriented while also understanding the bigger picture
- Knowledge of fundraising strategies and donor relations
