CJE is currently searching for a senior marketing and sales leader to join our executive leadership team. This leader will:
Guide our strategy for target marketing and outreach campaigns to a wide range of CJE current and future stakeholders.
Create and manage an overarching sales function for CJE; establishing best practices for internal structure and relationships with a variety product lines; as well as alterative incentive-oriented compensation Plan, manage, and oversee competitive analysis and pricing strategies for diverse programs and audiences.
Develop and manage a strategy to adopt and implement a sales-oriented corporate This culture will be based on accountability and cross-selling of CJE services to realize the agency’s commitment to become the destination of choice for older adults and their families.
Create a marketing & sales strategy for CJE’s new organizational structure derived from the 2021 Corporate Visioning work.
Collaborate with internal departments to develop functional and feasible ways to obtain and analyze the effectiveness of targeted marketing and sales campaigns.
Lead the review and selection of a new CRM tool that aligns with CJE’s values and objectives.
Provide high-level marketing communications and work collaboratively across the agency to develop appropriate communications and strategies to support brand management, new business development, internal communications, institutional messaging, and revenue generation (fundraising and product development).
Create and facilitate marketing and public relations strategy that provides CJE leadership with the opportunities to cultivate and enhance meaningful relationships with targeted external audiences, business partners, the media, and key influencers.
Operate as the main point of contact for managing crisis communications.
Writes and edits selected (high level) communications materials to support work of the President & CEO, VP of Resource Development, Marketing Communications Manager, and other staff as needed.
Provides professional assistance to President & CEO in managing Governance and Nominating Committees, to include lay leader education and Serves as primary staff leader for the Marketing Committee of the Board.
Prepares and manages annual marketing department budget and provides guidance for developing the marketing budgets for other program managers.
Education and Experience
Master’s degree in business, sales, marketing or management is preferred.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in leading a successful sales force is required.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in advertising, communications, editorial development, marketing and event planning, including management experience.
Experience in Assisted Living or Social Services is highly preferred.
Strong written and oral communications skills.

Location: Chicago, Illinois. Main office located at 3003 West Touhy Avenue in Chicago’s West Rogers Park neighborhood. Currently supporting both onsite and remote work.
