The Information Technology Services department (ITS) seeks a highly-motivated, organized and flexible technology assistant to provide essential support to the Chief Information Officer and the department generally in a fast-paced environment. The right candidate is a solution-oriented thinker who is tech savvy and excited to work in a rapidly-changing area, working on a wide range of initiatives.
Support CIO in managing and organizing tasks and priorities
Assist ITS Business Coordinator with purchasing, legal and other ITS activity as needed
Interface with internal departments and staff on various projects and tasks as needed
Handle arrangements for meetings and manage complex calendars
Perform general administrative duties including ordering supplies, routing mail, filing, copying, and faxing
Assist in maintenance of departmental recordkeeping and databases including attendance, purchasing, budget, contracts, audit, project tracking
Aid in developing PowerPoint and other presentations
Qualifications & Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree and related administrative experience required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel and database management.
Excellent organizational and administrative skills and an understanding of systems and procedures
Detail-oriented, effective time manager, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment
Flexibility, with strong interpersonal communication and writing skills
Friendly demeanor in person and on the phone
Positive work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
