Scheck Hillel Community School has an immediate opening for an Events/Operations Assistant. This is a hands-on position and supports the School operations in coordinating the operational logistical details of events.
Working in collaboration with faculty and staff, responsibilities include ensuring the following details have been considered and coordinated in the implementation of the events: Timelines, Space, Suppliers, Staff, Food, Buses, Insurance coverages, Technology & Audio/visual needs, Security, Traffic Control/Parking, Room layouts. Supports the Operations Manager on an as needed basis with the processing of POs, maintaining schedules and other items.
Qualified candidates must be able to complete a wide range of activities requiring clear communication, excellent organizational and customer service skills and attention to detail. Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure, fluent Spanish/English language ability and proficiency with Google docs/sheets required. Previous experience with events support in a Jewish environment a plus.
