High School Administrative Assistant

Assist and support the Principal and Administration of Fasman Yeshiva High School, a division of Hebrew Theological College. This position serves as the primary point of contact for high school students, faculty, and parents, and performs the overall high school office functions.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Serve as administrative assistant to High School Principal and Administration
• Serve as high school office's primary point of contact for students, faculty, and parents, including answering phone calls and emails, and managing visitors to the office
• Communicate with and assist parents of FYHS
• Manage high school online platform and assist faculty as needed
• Assist HTC CEO and Rosh HaYeshiva as needed
• Maintain student records within office and for the school physician
• Maintain emergency and health records
• Maintain records to ISBE standards
• Create and furnish transcripts for high school & alumni
• Prepare and send out mailings and e-blasts
• Assist in organizing graduation and graduation dinner
• Assist in coordinating annual Siyum and dinner arrangements
• Assist in creating progress reports and report cards
• Organize and maintain the upkeep of the overall office
• Order and organize office supplies as needed
• Aid in fire drills


Education, Preparation, and Training:
• Bachelor’s degree or above
• Three years related work experience

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Superior interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to multi-task well in a fast-paced environment

Computer Skills:
• Microsoft Office
• Constant Contact email marketing
• Aptitude and proficiency with online platforms

• Monday – Thursday: 9 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: 9 AM – 1 PM
• Occasional weekend/evening hours

• Sukkos, Pesach & Shavuos, Winter Break, two weeks and 6 weeks in the summer of half days
