Judaic Studies Educator

Shalhevet Scottsdale/Nishmat Adin is an innovative new school based in Scottsdale, AZ in which students will participate virtually in Shalhevet High School’s academic courses and co-curricular activities, while building a vibrant community of learners on the ground in Scottsdale.
Shalhevet High School, a co-ed Modern Orthodox Jewish high school based on Los Angeles, aims to further our students’ commitment to Torah learning and Jewish/Modern Orthodox values, facilitate academic excellence, and equip students with the tools needed for self-actualization. We empower students to become active players in the formation of their own Jewish identities - and their identities in the larger world - amidst an environment of thoughtfulness, inquiry, and rigorous Torah study. Shalhevet is a Just Community, an educational system that functions in a democratic style and emphasizes moral development. As exemplified in our weekly Town Hall meetings, the Just Community engages all stakeholders (including students!) in dialogue and encourages all participants to contribute to the community.
