The Abraham Joshua Heschel School of Manhattan is seeking a full-time parental leave Middle School Chumash teacher for grades 6 and 7 from August 25, 2021 through December, 2021. This position includes the teaching of Shemot and BeMidbar as well as facilitating daily Tefillah.
Applicants must have a Bachelor's Degree and experience teaching Limudei Kodesh, and preferably professional training and graduate education in teaching as well. They must also have the ability to teach in Hebrew. Candidates should enjoy the process of teamwork to develop curriculum and to plan special events, and be committed to paying individual attention to students.
