Pardes Jewish Day School in Scottsdale, Arizona is looking for an outstanding Jewish Studies teacher who will inspire Lower and Middle School students, and get them excited about learning. The Jewish Studies teacher will join a professional team of colleagues who are committed to Jewish education. We are looking for a caring educator with the ability to academically challenge students, and develop his/her practice.
Qualifications of the ideal candidate:
-- Has experience teaching Bible, Holidays, Jewish Ethics, Israel, and Jewish History to Lower and/or Middle School students.
-- Has a solid understanding of and experience with integrating technology and new methodologies in daily instruction.
-- Enjoys working with a team to develop curriculum and plan school events.
-- Is able to create dynamic and active lessons that engage students.
-- Has experience with project-based learning.
-- Has experience teaching students with different learning styles.
-- Willingness to grow and learn with the Jewish Studies team.
Applicants must have:
-- Excellent communication skills
-- Bachelor's Degree and at least two years experience teaching Jewish Studies.
