SINAI’s Maor High School at Rae Kushner Yeshiva High School in Livingston, NJ offers an academically rigorous program for high school students with academic and/or social challenges including learning disabilities, Aspergers, and ADHD. Students at SINAI Maor graduate with a high school diploma in four years, and are on a college track.
SINAI at Maor High School is seeking a highly motivated Judaic studies teacher for the 2021-2022 year to teach high school students with complex learning disabilities, and/or social and emotional challenges. The ideal candidate will have a Masters in Special Education and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience with teens with learning disabilities.
Responsibilities
Teaching Jewish education subjects such as Chumash, Navi, Halacha, and Mishna to high school students with complex learning disabilities and/or social/emotional challenges.
Collaborate with co-educators and parents to facilitate the most productive environment possible for each individual’s learning needs.
Qualifications
Masters in Special Education (preferred)
3-5 years teaching experience to high school students, preferably within a special education setting
