Temple Administrator will manage day-to-day synagogue operations including: building usage and staff supervision. Help to oversee financial systems, development and budgeting. Provide support and coordination to clergy. Maintain and coordinate synagogue calendar. Coordinate email & phone chain for synagogue wide distribution and/or for emergencies. Create and distribute newsletters – Shabbat and Weekly. Attend Synagogue Board and Congregation meetings, special events when appropriate & help in the execution when needed. Provide services and outreach to all current and prospective members. Support programs and volunteer activities, oversee marketing and advertising, communications and community relations. Interact with membership & clergy to facilitate Simcha’s and Sorrow’s. Coordinate with leasees regarding building usage and access. Use and application of personal computers & networking. Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Synagogue Database Software(Chaverware/Shulcloud), Constant Contact, QuickBooks. Oversight of internet communications. Reports to the President of the Board of Trustees and works in close collaboration with the Rabbi and Board to assure the synagogue effectively provides for the needs of the congregation.
