What you’ll be responsible for:
As part of the JUF Professionals Network team, you will be responsible for the administration and management of assigned professional Networks, working closely with volunteer leadership on fundraising initiatives, events, and leadership development. You will develop and maintain a portfolio of donors to maximize charitable and leadership involvement and participate in any cross-network fundraising or leadership development initiatives within JUF Professionals Network.
What you’ll be doing:
Overseeing day-to-day operations of the JUF Professionals Network, including managing and working with volunteer leadership to implement programs, annual dinners, and initiatives geared toward fundraising, outreach, and leadership development, including forming relationships with key contacts at major businesses.
Performing responsibilities of a Donor Officer including conducting research on potential and current donors, building relationships with new and current supporters, and conducting face-to-face engagement, stewardship and solicitation meetings, increasing connectivity and giving to JUF.
Achieving the responsibilities related to the administration of the Network(s) including generating fundraising reports and working with assigned support staff to handle necessary correspondence and maintain timely and accurate records.
Providing general support for all other campaign events, phonothons, and special events with various JUF departments. Supporting JUF Campaign and mandatory campaign-related activities on an ongoing basis.
What you need to succeed:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a fundraising institution preferred
Skilled at face-to-face communication with donors or other professionals
Highly organized with excellent written communication skills
Able to be a self-starter and handle multiple projects
Proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite of products
Knowledge of Jewish community, culture, heritage, traditions and Jewish communal services preferred
