Campaign Services, Donor Relations Associate

Role Overview
Hillel International's Advancement Pillar’s Campaign Team is seeking a campaign associate who is excited to be part of a top fundraising team in the greater DC area. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn about the fundraising industry focusing on donor relations and fundraising support. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, organized, a team player, a problem solver, someone who takes initiative and an inquisitive thinker.

This role is based in our Washington, DC office and will report directly to the Director of Campaign Services.

Job Responsibilities
-Manage donor inquiries phone and through email by providing general customer service support, accepting donations and answering questions
-Oversee donor correspondence and documentation, including producing all acknowledgement letters, pledge reminders and tribute gift notifications
-Serve as the primary liaison between the Advancement and Finance teams at Hillel International and the local Hillels in North America and internationally
-Participate as a core member of the Campaign Team to support Hillel International’s annual campaign goals
-Provide support for Hillel International’s Planned Giving program including tracking and reporting of incoming commitments and gifts
-Learn and maintain high level knowledge of Salesforce Nonprofit Success Package (NPSP)
-Support in backend operations of Advancement Pillar events

-Play a crucial role in gathering, sharing and reporting on donor related information with key programmatic teams across the organization
-Serve as the key administrator of donor database creating and maintaining constituent records
-Opportunities for special projects as needed

-Provide excellent donor services to both internal and external partners
-Strong written and verbal communication skills

-Strong analytical and problem solving skills
-High level of proficiency with PCs and Microsoft OS, Excel, Word, Outlook
-Eagerness to learn and develop new skills
-Experience in fundraising or customer relationships preferred
-Commitment to maintain confidentiality and a high degree of accuracy in constituent records
