Recruitment Associate

Focusing on Birthright Israel, this full-time position plays a vital role in the expansion & growth of Shorashim immersive Israel experiences. Through this role, the recruitment associate oversees & executes recruitment events, initiatives, & programs within key networks, including - but not limited to - college campuses, cities/communities, & national programs & conferences.

As a central contributor to campaigns and strategies, the Recruitment Associate utilizes formal & informal recruiting techniques for students & young adults, & other targeted, recruitment-based initiatives, both in-person & virtual, through social media & other platforms.

Specific Responsibilities:
Schedule, organize, & implement small & large-scale recruitment events, both virtual & in person for Birthright Israel: Shorashim on college campuses around the country while supervising seasonal events team members
Discover, interview, hire, & direct progress & growth of recruiters/ambassadors; act as the liaison between these individuals & Shorashim
Play key role in evolving, expanding, & improving recruitment programs & strategies; Utilizing data systems & applications to effectively disseminate information, resources, & more
Manage outreach & the application process for participants through events & recruiter programs
Communicate with participants, parents, & partners about registration processes via email & phone
Assist in the management of incoming & outgoing communications via phone & email
Support to organization-wide programs including, but not limited to, staff trainings & orientations
Represent Shorashim at conferences; increase brand recognition, generate leads, grow recruitment team
Contribute to on the ground in Israel recruitment initiatives

Attention to detail, organized, & innovative with past experience in successfully implementing creative ideas
Effective communicator - both written & verbally - with excellent writing skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Knowledge of databases & marketing platforms is a plus
Must be willing & able to travel & work night/weekends

Preferred Experience: 1-2 years of work experience
