Valley Outreach Synagogue, located in Calabasas, is seeking an integral member of our office staff to fill the position of Office Administrator. The job involves interacting with Clergy, Staff, Board Members, Congregants and members of the community. Responsibilities include: managing the phone and security systems, opening mail, overseeing production of the monthly newsletter, producing Yahrzeit letters, managing Prayers for Healing, filing, managing live scanning for employees, maintaining personnel files, maintaining all office equipment and supplies, assisting Director of Administration in maintaining the synagogue calendar, support and assist all Board members, and process all accounts payable.
This position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work under pressure. Candidate must have exceptional organizational and time-management skills, strong computer skills including: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Quickbooks, Constant Contact, and ShulCloud knowledge is a plus. Must be fully vaccinated. Salary: $25/hour.
