Role & Responsibilities
IT, Data, & Process Design:
-Administer TAMID Group’s Salesforce system, updating information on members, donors, and partner companies
-Produce reports, data visualizations, and analysis of business data to inform management decision-making
-Use software (including Salesforce) to build streamlined or automated business processes
-Assist the Chief Operating Officer in implementing an IT strategy that integrates custom software, Salesforce, Monday.com, AirTable, Mailchimp, Typeform, Intacct, and G Suite.
-Train colleagues and help troubleshoot software including Salesforce, Monday.com, Airtable, Slack, Mailchimp, G Suite, Typeform, and Expensify.
-Participate in team-wide conversations about organizational strategy
-Collaborate with student leaders who are interested in TAMID Group’s data strategy
Finance & Administrative:
-Manage office operations, including mail and supplies (not entirely relevant during COVID-19 closure)
-Maintain organized financial records and assist in preparation for annual audit
-Record revenue and process invoices with proper coding, as advised by CPA firm
The Ideal Candidate Will
-Have a Bachelor’s degree (required)
-Have at least 1 year of experience in business operations, IT, or nonprofit finance
-Have experience and credentials as a Salesforce Administrator (preferred)
-Be a self-starter who thrives both when working independently or in a team environment
-Have strong attention to detail and organizational skills
-Have the ability to anticipate, plan and prioritize in a dynamic, fast-changing environment with little predefined structure
-Have the ability to collaborate with colleagues and undergraduate students -- serving simultaneously as a respectful partner and a role model
-Have excellent oral and written communication skills
-Be goal-oriented, project-oriented and achievement-oriented
-Be passionate about the work and mission of TAMID Group (TAMID experience is preferred)
The position offers competitive compensation and benefits commensurate with experience.
The position will begin remotely and be expected to work in the Washington DC area (Silver Spring, MD) if and when it is deemed safe to return. TAMID cares deeply about employee safety and, with the current public health risks, will only return to the office if the prevailing public health advice favors returning to normalcy.
