Development Director

The Jewish Federation of Greater Dayton (JFGD) is seeking a seasoned professional to serve as the Development Director.
The Development Director will be responsible for:

Assisting in the design & implementation of JFGD’s annual campaign plan
Assisting in the coordination of outreach activities
Securing financial support from individual donors and corporations
Developing and maintaining ongoing relationships with donors and community partners
Organizing and planning of special events, including fundraising events
Expanding and developing programs within the development department

The ideal candidate should possess:
Bachelor’s Degree (required)
A minimum of three years of experience in development and/or corporate sales
Excellent organizational, communication, and writing skills

The ideal candidate is:
A strategic thinker with the ability to prioritize projects
Motivated to work in a collaborative team environment
Excited to engage and connect with donors and community members
Adept at customer relations
Excellent at follow through
