Beit Rabban Day School is an innovative, non-denominational Jewish school on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Beit Rabban thoughtfully combines progressive education with an emphasis on deep Jewish learning, intellectual rigor and child-centered learning.
Beit Rabban seeks a full-time fourth grade teacher to hold primary teaching responsibilities in literacy, math, science and social studies. This fourth grade teacher will work in close partnership with a co-teacher who is primarily responsible to teach Judaic studies. Together, they will be responsible for the academic, emotional, and spiritual growth of the fourth grade class as a whole and of each student as a whole child.
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
3+ years of experience as a classroom teacher, including literacy, math and social studies instruction.
